We have liftoff - Windows Phone 7 launches
Today we start the next milestone in the life of Windows Phone 7. This morning we held a global webcast to announce some of the cool devices coming to Europe this month, and the United States in November.
I certainly haven’t decided what to get but after testing the HTC EVO and it’s 4.3” screen a few months ago, I am considering the HTC HD7. Looking forward to analyzing the specs, features and prices more fully when I see the Microsoft employee deals.
Here are a few specs and details on the T-Mobile HTC HD7
- Qualcomm 1GHz QSD8250 processor
- 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash
- 720p HD video
- Features the largest screen (4.3”) available on a Windows Phone smartphone on the market. Well, it technically isn’t on the market yet but I don’t see something larger. Like the HTC EVO, the screen res is 480x800.
- Download and store even more with 16 GB of memory
- Shoot life on the go with 720p HD video recorder
- Enjoy hit movies streamed right to your HTC HD7 with Netflix
- Get grooving to personalized radio stations with Slacker Radio
- Features best-in-class productivity with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office
