    error 0x80070422 usually occurs when Windows Update is unable to download or install updates. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Check if the Windows Update service is running. Press the Windows key + R, type "services.msc" and press Enter. Look for the Windows Update service and make sure it is running. If it is not running, right-click on it and select "Start".
    2. Check if the Windows Update settings are correct. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on "Advanced options". Make sure that the settings are set to "Automatic (recommended)".
    3. Disable any third-party antivirus software temporarily. Sometimes, antivirus software can interfere with Windows Update. Try disabling your antivirus software temporarily and see if that resolves the issue.
    4. Run the Windows Update troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot and select "Windows Update". Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
