onsettings event

Occurs when the settings charm is invoked.

WinJS.Application.addEventListener("settings", listenerName);
or
WinJS.Application.onsettings = listenerName;

  An object that contains information about the event. The detail property of this object contains the following sub-properties:

  • type: "settings"
  • applicationcommands: The property that you set to an array of settings commands. You then populate the SettingsFlyout with these commands by a call to SettingsFlyout.populateSettings.
