I had all sorts of good intentions to start the week off with a "long walking commute," but Mother Nature had other plans. Our region is currently enduring what the meteorologists call "a rain event of historic significance"; even though the MG has a few holes in the roof, its deployment struck me as preferable to walking to miles in a deluge:
