Someone over at Channel 9 had a pretty funny response to the Apple ads. Well, except for the bit about 'silly Office', in reference to my product. :P

    Well, I couldn't quite believe that the cost of floppy drives was supposed an issue. Do you know a single Mac person who has bought a floppy drive in the past 5 years? I mean, I did when I got my first blue & white G3 way back in 1999 or so. Then never needed it. After the first year of iMacs and b&w G3, has anyone ever needed one?

    So the only time you used a floppy drive lately was to restore a computer with an OS that didn't support restoring from the CD drive or some other media?

    It's a common defense I've seen of the floppy drive, "If the computer doesn't have one, then how will I update the BIOS?"
