Web 2.0 and Skittles?

From one of my co-workers:

In a brave move for a national brand, the new Skittles website has replaced its home page with a raw twitter feed.  Apart from a small, branded navigation tool, they’ve removed all content in favor of references to other social media sites: “videos” goes to YouTube, “pictures” takes you to Flickr, “friends” is a facebook app.  Most amazingly, for their core product information they just point to Wikipedia.

Quoting VentureBeat: “Naturally, people are already spamming the hell out of this. One tweet being repeated over and over again unfortunately uses a racial slur. As such, I suspect this little experiment will end rather soon for Skittles.”
