Birthday and a Song

I'm on an Alaskan cruise and thinking about the jazz gigs I'm missing in Washington. Okay, just a little. I am enjoying the musical shows and entertainers on the cruise. They have a jazz singer whom I think is a phenom. The lead trumpet player is excellent also. The sax players are okay.

So I thought I'd include a picture of the Woodinville Jazz Ensemble, just 'cuz I miss these guys so much. My wife is front row, the pretty blond woman with the alto sax. I'm in the second row with my baritone sax. The venue is Victoria, Canada and the time is Spring 2006.
