Lost in Seattle...
Well I made it to Seattle on Thursday last week and it's been non stop training for the last 3 days. It's Sunday over here now and we are finishing up our pre training before the main technical conference starts. We are here for the annual geek conference to drink some more kool-aid and feel the love! We've been talking and sharing some good information. It's been great to catch up with some of my peers I haven't seen for awhile and some I'm meeting for the first time. It's been good to see the boys from Canada like Rick, Damir and Rodney and of course the mother of blogging Eileen Brown! We have also got a chance to connect with some new people like Maria who is our new Evangelist in Singapore. She doesn't seem to get Aussie jokes but we are working on educating her!
This year Michael and I decided to stay at an apartment instead of a hotel which has been a great idea. We are staying at Oakwood Apartments which is Belltown in Seattle near the Space Needle.
It's a nice area where we are staying and I like better than a normal hotel because it feels a lot more like home. And its cheaper which is a good thing.
Believe it or not it was sunny when I got here but of course it's raining now and it's pretty cold for me considering I came from the Australian summer.
And the title of this post is applicable because I got lost for 2 hours trying to find the apartment when I got here..Oh well..must have had jetlag..
More updates to follow as the week goes on..
Cheers, Jeffa

Belltown is good spot to rest your foot. There are quite a few variety of food choices around the area in the evening too.
