Computerworld : Why Microsoft's Zune scares Apple to the core

"...The Zune is unlike any product Microsoft has ever shipped. It's actually very nicely designed, surprisingly minimalist and (dare I say it?) "cool." (Zune marketing looks cool, too. The user interface is fluid and appealing -- and, again, like MySpace -- customizable. Users will be able to personalize the Zune interface with photos, "themes," "skins" and custom colors."

    I hope the Zune is a huge success. Not because I think it's particularly good, but because people will wonder why their "iTunes music" doesn't work with their new player.All of a sudden, a large number of people will find out about Digital Restrictions Management and realise why they shouldn't buy encrypted music.
