Comment Spam Attack

I've been hit with a great deal of comment spam this weekend - nasty, unsavoury, truly horrible comment spam.

I read a recent Wired Magazine article about the life and death of a russian spam king. Makes me wonder who is behind this recent spam attack?

What I need is one of these little fellas to 'EXTERMINATE' the spam

  Just be thankful that you're not on Windows Live Spaces. Not only do we contend with spam comments (SPLOG) we also have spam trackbacks -- which I’ve nicknamed “porkbacks” (in keeping with the swine theme).

  I was gonna say, "glad I'm not the only one", but I guess that wouldn't be very nice of me :-).
