Oprah Winfrey.....look out!

If you look in the left column of my blog, I have added a new list for books I am reading. Right now I only have a single book in the list because I am only reading the one book. Typically you will see 3-5 in the list. I will rotate them out as I start and finish. You will quickly see what kinds of reading I like to read because those will come an go quickly. Books that stay in the list longer are either tough reads or far less interesting to me. To be fair, I have been working on the current book, Lisey's Game by Stephen King for over a month now. I read more when I am traveling but my travels this past month have kept me busier than normal. It doesn't help that American Idol just started and that chews up 3 evenings a week...

I would also welcome your suggestions on books you have found interesting. What are you reading?

  Right now I'm reading "Prince of Fire" by Daniel Silva .  I got it on the bargain table at Wal-Mart for $6 hardback.  It's an OK read, it took a while to get into the story, but now I'm about 2/3rds way through it and am ready to finish it.  What I've really been into here lately are the Preston and Child books, starting with Relic.  However I'm trying to break it up a bit so I don't just finish them all and have it be over too quickly.  Anyway, that's what I'm reading now...
