Nandini's Bio
I have been working on the Embedded test team for the past two years. My test involvement has mostly been with the Embedded Enabling Features (EEFs) such as Remote Boot and Enhanced Write Filter (EWF). I tested the EWF features such as live commit, HORM for XPe SP2. I am very passionate about EEFs as they provide a lot of value to our embedded customers. Working on the Embedded team has been a pleasure as I am learning new things everyday and meeting smart people.
I completed my BS in Electrical Engineering from NITK, India followed by Masters in ECE from Rutgers Univ, New Jersey. The thesis was on "Implementation and Analysis of Trajectory Based Forwarding". Trajectory Based Forwarding (TBF) is a routing mechanism for ad-hoc networks where the packets are forwarded along a pre-defined trajectory. My thesis involved implementing TBF in network simulator (NS) and comparing it with the existing routing protocols for ad-hoc networks.
Apart from work, I like to play tennis and ping-pong. I have recently started learning Kathak (Indian classical dance form) and I am thoroughly enjoying it. My husband Jeu works on the PIX team which is the digital imaging team at Microsoft.
