Procedure: Eenvoudige tekenreeksmanipulaties uitvoeren in .NET

In het volgende voorbeeld worden enkele methoden gebruikt die worden besproken in de onderwerpen Basisreeksbewerkingen om een klasse te maken die tekenreeksbewerkingen uitvoert op een manier die kan worden gevonden in een echte toepassing. De MailToData klasse slaat de naam en het adres van een persoon op in afzonderlijke eigenschappen en biedt een manier om de City, Stateen Zip velden te combineren tot één tekenreeks die aan de gebruiker kan worden weergegeven. Bovendien kan de gebruiker met de klasse de plaats-, staat- en postcodegegevens invoeren als één tekenreeks. De toepassing parseert automatisch de enkele tekenreeks en voert de juiste informatie in de bijbehorende eigenschap in.

Voor het gemak gebruikt dit voorbeeld een consoletoepassing met een opdrachtregelinterface.

Wanneer de voorgaande code wordt uitgevoerd, wordt de gebruiker gevraagd zijn of haar naam en adres in te voeren. De toepassing plaatst de informatie in de juiste eigenschappen en geeft de informatie weer aan de gebruiker, waarbij één tekenreeks wordt gemaakt waarin de plaats-, staat- en postcodegegevens worden weergegeven.
