I am currently remodeling an old house. My mother does this for a living. While walking through the house it is frequently necessary to calculate how much paint, trim, how many doors, electrical outlets... etc. one will need to both estimate price of remodel and to create a shopping list. This application when complete will do just that. Ultimately it will store all of this information as a 'project' and allow you to have 3-5 projects in memory. Currently only the painting module is working for this contest.
