All Zuned up with no place to go...

Yes, I finally got my hands on a Zune for my birthday. (Well Gemma got a new Red iPod Nano to replace her ageing iPod which had got very moody about whether it wanted to play or not so I thought I ought to get myself something to keep my occupied). A big selling point for me is the radio as I'm an avid Radio 4 fan and I often miss my favourite shows - particularly the comedy - as I'm never near a radio when I need it. Now I can carry one with me wherever I go!

Unfortunately, all my music is on a Maxtor NAS device which I brought with me into the office thinking I could also connect via USB. It appears not. And I don't have a DHCP server here (well not one that's willing to give out an address to a random device appearing on the network anyway) so I'll have to wait until I get home to sync my music. Drat and double drat...

Summary so far. Like the device. Don't like the packaging (took me way too long to get into it). Comes with a nice "sock" to keep it protected as well.
