User Groups Activity this week
Hi folks,
This week we have alot of activity out in User Group land so below is a quick update:
Sydney
Sydney SBS User Group - Tonight in Sydney I'll be hosting the event which is on at Microsoft in North Ryde and I will presenting a session on the Windows Vista Firewall. Check out the website for more details
Sydney Windows Infrastructure - The next meeting for this group is tomorrow night in Sydney and Michael will be presenting MIIS 2003 so if you are interested in Identity then get along to this session. Michael has a bit of passion about identity so it should be a good session. I'll be there as well to help Derrick give away some prizes.
Canberra
Canberra Windows User Group - My good buddy David is running the meeting tonight and will be talking all about his experiences at Teched 2006 in Sydney this year.
Canberra SQL Server User Group - Tonight there is a special meeting of this group featuring Adam Cogan. The session is titled "Up and Running with SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services". Adam is making a special trip to Canberra so if you love SQL then get along if you can.
Tonights meeting is a special meeting and the group will still be meeting on Thursday the 14th this week. Peter Myer will be doing a session titled "Overview of SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence". Should be a good session as well.
So there is lots of activity this week so get along to one of these groups if you are in Sydney or Canberra!
Cheers, Jeff
