BIG goes Virtual...
As Andrew would say a BIG hello to everyone! For the August meeting of the Brisbane Infrastructure Group; Virtualization is going to take center stage. Check out all the details below:
This month we have Ben Armstrong over from Microsoft Seattle presenting Windows Server Virtualization (aka 'Viridian') for us.
Ben is a Program Manager on the Core Virtualization team at Microsoft.
Windows Server Virtualization is a hypervisor-based technology; a thin layer of software running directly on the hardware enabling multiple operating systems and applications to be siloed and virtualized on a single physical machine. If you haven’t seen it already, check out the Windows Server Virtualization video on MSN: https://shrinkster.com/qql and you can find out more about Ben on his blog https://blogs.msdn.com/virtual_pc_guy/.
As always an early RSVP will help with catering. Please register on the BIG web site: https://www.aususergroups.org/Default.aspx?tabid=663
There is no cost to attend, Pizza and drinks provided. Friends and colleagues are welcomed.
