From a line of business perspective one of the common requests from customers is to be able to lock down the device so that only one or a small number of applications can be used on the device itself. 

SPB Kiosk is a solution to enable that and they lock down the taskbar, start menu, control panel and all other mechanisms on the device itself. 

 

This means you can limit the device to specific applications either through the device interface itself, Internet explorer or Terminal Services.
