.NET menyediakan akses ke API perlindungan data (DPAPI), yang memungkinkan Anda mengenkripsi data menggunakan informasi dari akun pengguna atau komputer saat ini. Ketika Anda menggunakan DPAPI, Anda meringankan masalah sulit dalam menghasilkan dan menyimpan kunci kriptografi secara eksplisit.
Gunakan kelas ProtectedData untuk mengenkripsi salinan array byte. Anda dapat menentukan bahwa data yang dienkripsi oleh akun pengguna saat ini hanya dapat didekripsi oleh akun pengguna yang sama, atau Anda dapat menentukan bahwa data yang dienkripsi oleh akun pengguna saat ini dapat didekripsi oleh akun apa pun di komputer.
