You may have noticed that when you open up a Solution / Project the Start Page goes away.  This is the new default behavior in Visual Studio 2010.  To change it just look in the lower left-hand corner of the new and improved Start Page then deselect the "Close page after project load" checkbox.  From now on the Start Page will stick around until you close it yourself.
