Now many people would think I’m sharing this with you to have a dig at VMware but I’m not I can assure you.  Yesterday there was a serious bug reported in VMware ESX 3.5 Update 2 on the VMware forums.  As of August 12th you could run into a problem with all your VM’s not starting due to some time syncronization issue.  The current workaround is to set your clock to August 10th and that should fix it for now.
