    Hi,

If you're having trouble with the service pack, you should be able to remove it using Add/Remove programs in control panel. Windows XP Service Pack 2 should be near the bottom of the list. You can remove the SP by clicking Remove. After you remove the SP and reboot, be sure to run Windows Update and make sure your firewall is turned on.

    HTH,

    Brian

When you want to view an adobe acrobat help file, you can't open it with I.E. without right clicking the toolbar and clicking alow block content, and then clicking yes an a are you sure window! There is no way in the settings to shut this !@#$% security feature off.

Since my service pack 2 instal, My computer takes much longer to reboot and I had extra security start up icons on my task bar that I had to spend time removing.

I am (was!) on Roadrunner from my home computer. Loaded SP2, have had connectivity problems ever since. Noticed another comment from Carriewoo indicating similar problems. Before I uninstall SP2 or take other drastic measures, is anyone else out there having similar problems? Microsoft had better resolve this!!
