Hi,

I was only curious about the schedule for the April rollout of InfVerif /h. We are almost ready for release, so I was just reading the notice from this site (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/hardwaredevcenter/upcoming-changes-to-inf-validation-in-hdc/4373521) to see if our signing would be broken or if we need to make modifications right away.

    Hi, @Shivanna, Lohit

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The April 2025 rollout of the updated InfVerif /h tool introduces stricter validation checks for driver submissions to the Hardware Dev Center (HDC). These changes align with the Windows Hardware Certification Program (WHCP) requirements and aim to ensure higher standards of quality, security, and reliability for driver packages.

To avoid disruptions, it's recommended to run InfVerif /h on your driver package before submission. If you haven't already, you can download the latest version of the Windows Driver Kit (WDK), which includes the updated InfVerif tool.
