Viva Glint survey Distribution setup

After completing Program Setup for a Microsoft Viva Glint survey, set up the Distribution section. Choose which employees are eligible for a survey by selecting Distribution Lists or User Roles to include and exclude.

Include or exclude lists or roles for a survey

Use the search field in the Distribution section to select Distribution Lists or User Roles. If you don't see the appropriate list or role in dropdown menus, set up a new list or a new role.

To set up Distribution for your survey:

For Lifecycle surveys, select an Employee Attribute (hire or exit date) before selecting lists and roles.

  1. Select the search field for Distribution For This Program. Existing lists and roles appear.

  2. Select one or more Distribution Lists or User Roles.

  3. Select the search field for Exclude Groups. Existing lists and roles appear.

  4. Select one or more Distribution Lists or User Roles if some users should be excluded from the survey.

  5. Select the highlighted right-facing arrow icon to Save and Continue.

Download recipients

To download a spreadsheet of eligible users for a survey, select Download Recipients. This file includes:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Employee ID
  • Status
  • A column for each User Role that users belong to, when Include all user roles is set to "Yes" for the export.

Note

For Lifecycle surveys, the Download Recipients option isn't available. To get a list of recipients for a Lifecycle survey, follow these steps.

  1. Select Download Recipients.

  2. Choose whether to Include all user roles in the Exporting Member Data dialog that appears.

  3. Select Export to download a file to your device. A Report Downloaded! message appears in another tab when your data downloads.
