Loading Event Data for a Kinect-Enabled Application [Kinect Studio]

You can use Kinect Studio to open data from a Kinect that has been saved to an event data (.xed) file.

To load Kinect data

  1. In the File menu, click Open.
  2. In the Open dialog box, navigate to the .xed file, and then click Open.

You can also open a .xed file by double-clicking on it in Explorer or on the desktop.

Playing files from network locations may cause some instability with Kinect Studio. We’ve detected this happening after recording and saving directly to a network location. Save or copy files locally before using them in Kinect Studio.
