WTTLogCreateLogDevice function
The WTTLogCreateLogDevice function creates a log device topology according to the device string.
Syntax
HRESULT WTTLogCreateLogDevice(
LPWSTR pwszDevStr,
LONG* phDevice
);
Parameters
pwszDevStr
[in] A log device string, which has the following syntax:$<device_type>:<parameter_list>($<child_device1>[; $<child_device2>; ...])

phDevice
[out] A pointer to a handle that represents the device tracing topology.
Return value
WTTLogCreateLogDevice returns one of the following values:
Return code | Description |
---|---|
S_OK | The operation was successful. |
S_FALSE | The operation was successful but the last device has been detached, which has triggered a rollup. |
HRESULT | The operation failed. You should use the FAILED macro to check HRESULT values. |
