Overview

The USB Enable Disable test is a stress test which stresses multiple disables and enable of a device. The test ensures that the device under test is in the attached and configured state after 100ms of being enabled.

Details

Test Initialization:

  • Select device to test

  • Gather initial information

    • Device VID and PID are used to obtain the device instance path

USB Enable Disable test

  • First the device under test is found in an equivalent way to finding it in the device manager, this ensures that the state of the device is both attached and configured. The test will fail if the device is not found.

  • Repeat these steps 20 times

    • The device is disabled
    • The device is then enabled
    • After waiting 100ms the device under test is sought for using the device instance path, to verify that it is both attached and configured. The test will fail if the device is not found
