Running the Keyboard Tests

The primary manual test in the keyboard test suite is Winkey. Winkey requires the installation of a keyboard filter driver before the test will run successfully, so the following instructions should be followed for each test involving Winkey (1-key, 2-key, 3-key, and Media-key tests):

  • When the Winkey UI appears for the first time, select the option Install Driver. The system will restart.

  • When the Winkey UI appears for the second time (after you logged back in), select the option Run test.

  • When the Winkey UI appears for the third time, select the option Uninstall Driver. This will return the system to its previous state so that subsequent tests will succeed.
