Creating a Machine Pool
If a machine pool has not already been created, perform the following steps to create one:
Right-click $ in Machine Pool window on the left, and then click Add Machine Pool.
In the Add Machine Pool dialog box, type a name for the machine pool, and then click OK.
Setting the DTM Client Status
Before you can run tests on a client computer, you must make sure that the status of the computer is set to Ready. Client computers whose status is Manual, Debug, or Unsafe are not available to run tests. Resetting a client computer's status places the client computer in the Ready state.
The icon next to a client computer's name in the Job Monitor window indicates the client computer's status. See Monitoring Client Computer Status for more information about Job Monitor, including a description of the icons and their meanings.
