Manage organizations and sites

Organizations and sites enable you to manage separate units within your Dragon Medical system. Use Nuance Management Center (NMC) to work with organizations and sites.

Adding organizations

To add an organization, do the following:

  1. Sign in to NMC and select Organizations > Add.

  2. Enter search criteria (an organization name and a zip/post code are required) and select Search. If the organization has not been added, select I don't see the organization. Let's create one.

  3. Fill in the tabs. The organization name and email are required.

  4. Select Save, select how you would like the administration credentials delivered and select OK. The organization is created and the following information is displayed; make a note of the following details:

    • The new organization token, needed by end users' client apps to use speech recognition.
    • If you selected Display on Screen: the user name and password to sign in to NMC as an administrator of the new organization. This user only has access to information for the new organization and can, for example, manage auto-texts and add words.

The NMC user account in your welcome kit has elevated privileges; you can manage all of your organizations including speech usage information.

Note

Every organization has its own organization token. If the security of an organization token has been compromised, contact Nuance technical support. You must delete the existing organization token for that organization and replace it with the new one.

Working with organizations

To work with an organization's users and sites, sign in to NMC and select Organizations > Search.

To see information about an organization, including its organization token, right-click the organization name and select Organization details.

NMC provides each organization with a default site. You can add, remove and edit sites on the Manage Organization screen.
