NxtGenUG Cambridge
NxtGenUG have just announced they're adding a new region to their already extensive collection (Birmingham, Oxford and Coventry) - Cambridge this time. The new regional group will be run by Chris Hay and Allister Frost and they've managed to secure a fantastic venue for it at Microsoft Research.
The 'Launch' meeting will be held on Tuesday 18th September 2007 and will feature ... Me! (yes, that's me as in me) ... talking Silverlight (Microsoft's new Rich Web Application Development Platform). There'll also be a speaker from Microsoft Research covering the fascinating subject of F#, watch out for more details!
Rich, Dave and John will be there to do something or other, probably involving 'swag'. All are welcome to attend the meeting whether they are a NxtGenUG member or not. Just go to the NxtGenUG site at https://www.nxtgenug.net, register for FREE and book your place! The evening starts at 6.30pm and ends at 9.00pm.
Details of all NxtGenUG regional meetings are available at https://www.nxtgenug.net/EventList.aspx.

Well, if you are at MSR in Cambridge and F# is involved then the mystery man is going to be Don Syme. Do I win a prize?Anonymous

Such as shame because I was just about to offer an all expenses paid trip to Southend-on-Seabut you got in there a moment too early. And of course, it being a secret, I don't know if that's the right answer... :-)Anonymous
