Off and running
Well, yesterday I kicked off another round of MSDN events in lovely Norfolk, Virginia. This is normally the territory of my colleague Geoff Snowman, however he's been forced to take an extended leave of disability for medical reasons. I enjoyed the audience in this town, and was pleased I could reward their attendance with our awesome new MSDN Events Companion DVD we're giving away. If you were at that event, please remember to not just throw that DVD on a shelf somewhere - pop it in your machine and take a look!
Of the 3 sessions I presented, I think most people got a kick out of the ASP.NET 2.0 content. The more I learn about ASP.NET 2.0 (and in fact Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 and the whole .NET framework 2.0) the more I worry about what developers are going to do with all the free time awarded them by the fantastic productivity and time-saving features! But, given how innovative people can get on top of new technology, maybe I shouldn't worry. :-)
As I write this I'm in the air flying to Raleigh - I'm using a cool new tool called BlogJet to write my blog entry off line and then submit it when I'm online again.

Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know I enjoyed your presentation at the MSDN Event in Raleigh last week. It was informative and very much worth while. You just need to start bringing some more pocketpc's so I have better odds next time :)
Also thanks for dropping by the TRINUG meeting the other night and supplying the after meeting coffee and good conversation!
Good luck in your new locations. I know it will be tough traveling to Florida and hosting events off the beach in Pensacola but I'm sure you're up to the challenge :)
Cheers,
Josh Carlisle
