SPFx + set values from Microsoft word document to Document library item

Dear All,

I am very much confused now as not getting anything related to this.

I have requirement where user can use document library and push values from MS Word to document library item. We have created document set. User clicks on New item, a word document gets opened, user will enter values to fields, add some texts, saves the document and click on button (may be on command set). We have some metadata columns created, those specific values from word document should get updated to document library item. I tried to use Quick Parts option (MS word feature) but that is not helping with complex fields like multiselect fields.

An email should get sent to Manager for approval. I can't use Power Automate, PowerApps here.

Manager will get a link of the item and open the document, make some edits to the fields inside the word document itself and click on Update button (which can be on the List View command set menu or somewhere else). This should update the values from word document values to library item again.

I'm not getting anything related to how I could set values from word document to library item. May I get any help in this?
