Hello I changed security settings on my laptop and when I tried to login into my account it says my Pin is no longer available and that I should set it up. It sent me to Microsoft account login page where I am to receive a code in my mail inbox but I have not received it for the past 24 hours despite numerous attempts.

On your laptop which part did you change? Have you checked the junk mail just incase.
Was it here
I changed and reverted back secure boot
Go to your Microsoft account online using any web browser.
Review the security settings, and ensure your verification methods. Verify your email there so that you can receive code while logging in on Windows.

Search your inbox for "Microsoft account security code" to see if it was filtered out. Try requesting the code again after a short wait. Make sure the email address associated with your Microsoft account is correct and active. You can test this by sending a test email to yourself.
Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and select Password under Manage how you sign in to your device.
