Need help recovering access to Microsoft Learn Sandbox

I created a Microsoft Learn sandbox yesterday to learn Azure and was prompted to configure MFA for the Microsoft Learn tenant:

  • Account: ******@gmail.com
  • Directory: learn.docs.microsoft.com
  • Tenant ID: 604c1504-c6a3-4080-81aa-b33091104187

This morning I did a stupid thing - thinking that my sandbox has expired and the MFA code is no longer relevant, I deleted it from my Google Authenticator app. Now I just realized that the tenant stays the same even after sandbox deletion and I can't log in to my Microsoft Learn tenant due to losing my MFA code.

Is there a way to recover access to Microsoft Learn after getting locked out of MFA, or otherwise delete the directory and start afresh? Note that I can access my default directory - I'm just locked out of the Microsoft Learn directory specifically.

Think I found the answer here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/external-id/leave-the-organization

Let's wait for 30min and see if I can rejoin the Microsoft Learn Sandbox directory and access it normally.
