Hi,
Unfortunately, you cannot generate the BitLocker recovery key from the recovery ID.
To find your BitLocker recovery key, you can try the following methods:
- Microsoft Account: If the BitLocker recovery key was backed up to your Microsoft account, you can retrieve it by signing in to https://aka.ms/myrecoverykey with your Microsoft account credentials.
- Work or School Account: If the device was ever signed into an organization using a work or school account, the recovery key might be stored in that organization's account. You can access it by signing in to https://aka.ms/aadrecoverykey with your work or school account.
- Printout: Check if you printed the recovery key when BitLocker was activated. Look where you keep important papers related to your device.
- USB Flash Drive: If you saved the recovery key on a USB flash drive, plug the USB flash drive into another device and read the text file containing the key.
If you cannot find the recovery key using these methods, you may need to reset your device, which will remove all files on the drive.
Best Regards,
Ian Xue
