Azure Dashboard Preview Tiles limit

Azure Monitor Dashboard view Workbook is in Preview mode.

We are trying to use it for our Dashboard. If we select Tiles view, i have see only 10 tiles in it. But for me 18 entries are there. How to increase the limit of Tiles?

in the Azure Workbook default limit is 100.

    Vijayakumar Gopika,

    After exploring a lot on your issue, I found that the tile limit is 100 for any of the Azure dashboards. As given in the above answer, there are some preview limitations existed for the preview dashboards. Reference MSDoc for the relevant information.

    The dashboard preview doesn't have the full functionality of Workbooks.

    Check that if there are any filters or settings applied to the query which are blocking the tile number to increase. Make sure to revisit the visualisation settings again to avoid the conflicts.

    I have checked in my Azure Portal dashboard environment for different kinds of workbook and was able to keep the limit to 100 without any fail**.**

    Check if the query you are trying to visualise has any restrictions or blockers added which may affect in increasing the number of tiles.

    If still the issue persists, you can directly add tiles from the Tile Gallery.

    Yes, in the standard (non-preview) version, Azure dashboards currently have a limit of 10 tiles, whereas the preview version allows up to 100 tiles.

    1. Enable Preview Version to Increase the Tile Limit to 100

    To move from the standard version (10 tiles) to the preview version (100 tiles limit):

    1. Go to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com)
    2. Navigate to Dashboard from the left-hand menu.
    3. Click on Preview Features (if available at the top or under settings).
    4. Look for Azure Dashboard Preview and enable it.
    5. Refresh the portal, and your dashboard should now support up to 100 tiles.

    2. Request an Increase in Tile Limits Beyond 100

    If 100 tiles are not sufficient, you can request an increase:

    1. Submit an Azure Support Request
      • Go to the Azure Support Portal.
      • Click Create a new support request.
      • Under Issue Type, select Quota Increase.
      • Choose Azure Dashboard Tile Limit and request a higher limit.
    2. Provide a Justification
      • Explain why additional tiles are required
    3. Await Microsoft Review & Approval
      • If approved, your limit may be increased beyond 100 tiles.
