According to your case description, the Avatar option cannot be seen in the Teams web.
The Avatars app is enabled by default for all organizations.
Please try the following steps one by one:
- Add Avatars: Search the app "Avatars" in the sidebar to see if the function can be used normally.
- Clear the browser cache: Try clearing the browser cache and reload the Teams page. This helps solve the problem of invisible functions caused by cache problems.
- Use the Teams client: If possible, try the latest version of the Teams client. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app#download-for-desktop1
- Check whether the Avatars app is enabled: If you have tried the above steps and still cannot find the Avatars app. Please make sure that the Avatars app is enabled in your Teams organization. Contact the administrator of the organization to enter the Teams Admin Center, click "Teams Apps", and then search for "Avatars" to confirm whether the app is listed as "Allowed". Or you are mistakenly assigned a policy that prohibits the use of the Avatars app.
