    Hello,

To connect the Sewoo dot matrix receipt printer to your Windows 10 computer and use it normally, you can follow these steps:

    1. Make sure the printer is properly connected and turned on, and the power indicator should be on. Make sure the printer's USB cable is securely plugged into your computer's USB port. If possible, replace the USB port or use another USB cable for testing.
    2. Open "Control Panel" -> "Devices & Printers" -> "Add Printer", and the system will automatically search for and install the printer driver.

If the system does not automatically recognize the printer, you can download the driver of the corresponding model from the official website of the printer manufacturer and install it.

    1. In Control Panel -> Devices & Printers, find your printer, right-click on the icon, select View Print Queue, make sure the printer is not set to Offline Mode, and clear the tasks in the print queue. Press the "Win+R" key, enter services.msc, and press enter. Find "Print Spooler" in the list of services, make sure its status is "Running", and if it is not running, right-click and select "Start".
    2. Make sure the POS software is properly configured with printer ports and drivers. In the POS software, check that the printer settings are pointing to the correct printer device. Close and restart the POS software to ensure that the software recognizes the printer correctly.
    3. Sometimes a firewall or anti-virus software may block the printer's connection to your computer. Open Control Panel -> Windows Firewall -> Allow apps through the firewall to make sure that printer-related programs are allowed through the firewall. At the same time, make sure that your Windows 10 system is updated to the latest version.

If the problem persists after following the steps above, we recommend that you contact the printer manufacturer's technical support with the specific printer model and error information for further troubleshooting.

    I hope this information helps.

    Best regards,

    Jingjing Wu
