To troubleshoot Internet connection issues on your PC, you can follow these steps:
- Make sure the Ethernet cable is properly connected or Wi-Fi is turned on and Airplane mode is off. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network troubleshooting to see if you can locate the problem.
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator. Run the following commands in order to reset the network:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
- Open Device Manager. Expand Network adapters and find your network adapter. Right-click the adapter and select Uninstall device. Restart your PC. Windows will automatically reinstall the network adapter driver.
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset. Select Reset now and confirm. Your PC will restart and reinstall the network adapter with default settings.
