Based on the information you provided, I suggest you try the following steps to see if the problem can be solved:
- Make sure the shared folder has the correct share permissions and NTFS permissions. Right-click the shared folder and select Properties. Go to the "Sharing" tab and click "Advanced Sharing". Click Permissions and make sure the Everyone group or specific users have Read or Read/Write access. Go to the Security tab and make sure the same permissions are applied.
- Windows Firewall may block file sharing. Open Control Panel > Windows Defender Firewall > Allow an application or feature through Windows Defender Firewall. Make sure the network allows file and printer sharing.
- If the virtual machine needs to communicate with the host and other PCs in the LAN, make sure the virtual switch is configured as internal or external, not "private".
