I have an Excel spreadsheet that is on a Thumb Drive. All spreadsheets will open except for one. The information in Properties shows that the file size is 1+MB.

When I try to open the spreadsheet there is no info, the Ribbon is there but inactive, does not show columns or gridlines. I have tried enabling and disabling the macros.

How might I open this worksheet?

    Hi Debbie,

Does the file have an .xlsx extension? if yes, are you able to see any sheets tabs below?

Are you able to create blank sheets at all?

If you are not able to see any sheets and cannot create new ones, I am suspecting the file may be corrupt or may not even be a spreadsheet.

    Trying repairing the File:

In Excel, Go to File -> Open, browse to this file in the thumb drive, click the dropdown arrow next to Open, and choose Open and Repair.
