I update my design space on 2/10/23 and since then I am no longer able to use design space. I get a blank white screen that acts as though it is constantly trying to reload. I then get a JavaScript error after closing the blank design space. Once I click ok on the error design Space opens again. I have tried various way of uninstalling and reinstalling design space to include deleting cookies, all design space associated data on computer and restarting. I have even tried the forced reload. All with no success. Please help.

Also I am not a techy person when it comes to these things so I would need step by step help. TIA

Here is the error code verbatim:

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process

    Hi Guys

I've been having the same issue this week with this, so this morning I've just been on the chat function with Cricut and they sent me over another link to download (after uninstalling for the 8th time!) and it seems to work now. Definitely recommend talking to them on the chat function! :-)

same problem!!!! I've been on phone with Cricut for over an hour and no solution. Under Installed Apps there appears to be 2 extra Design Space that I'm trying to remove and cannot. Cricut was aware and unable to help. I feel like there must be some hidden file(s) somewhere that's causing the problem.

I am having the same issue. Javascript error identical. Cricut support was no help. I have used Cricut Design Space for over a year with no issue. It just suddenly stopped loading and generates that javascript error.

Sounds frustrating! Since you've already tried reinstalling and clearing data, you might want to check if your antivirus or firewall is blocking Design Space. Also, try running it as an administrator or using a different user account on your computer. If that doesn’t help, you might need to reset your network settings or check for pending Windows updates. Hope you get it working soon!
