Hi All

I came across the article mentioning that OneNote for Windows 10 will reach its end of support. On my laptop, when I search for OneNote, I can see the OneNote application. How can I differentiate between OneNote for Windows 10 and OneNote on Windows (OneNote M365) on my laptop? Additionally, how can I migrate from OneNote for Windows 10 to OneNote on Windows (OneNote M365)?

    As the article said:

    OneNote for Windows 10:

    • This version is pre-installed on Windows 10.
    • It has a simplified interface with a navigation pane on the left.
    • The app icon is purple with a white "N" and a page symbol.

    OneNote on Windows (OneNote M365):

    • This version is part of Microsoft 365 and Office 2019, but can also be downloaded as a standalone app.
    • It has a full Office ribbon interface at the top.
    • The app icon is purple with a white "N" and a notebook symbol.

    And OneNote for Windows 10 will end-of-support in October 2025.
