No more palm trees

Pacifica is now "I/O Virtualization Technology Specification".

I liked Pacifica better. It sounded more like sun, palm trees and a successful vacation. The new name sounds like work, work, work.

We should have only nice and fancy names for our products. Longhorn should be called Longhorn and Windows Vista  should be ... But I guess the marketing teams in all companies are at least similar in terms of (lack of) good ideas (dinosaur ads) and in terms of (lack of) influence. The software/hardware world is so techie. Can't we have a bit more sunshine and life in our product names? -- Forgive me, it's raining in Seattle since December.

Both Intel and AMD have announced public availability of Virtualization at the CPU Level.  Thanks...
