Forums - better together
Two things that I find very satisfying are the following: to help out someone who needs help, and to receive help when I'm running out of ideas. Helping out others feels good; receiving help when I'm growing desperate certainly feels good as well!
The new https://forums.microsoft.com/ site is a great place to do this. I look forward to being involved here - people are already helping each other out.

From the FAQ document at http://forums.microsoft.com/msdn/languages/en-US/docs/faq.aspx:
How do I indicate a post answered my question?
While reading a reply to your question you will notice a button with this Icon: [Mark as correct answer] Clicking on it will mark the post as the answer to your question - Anonymous

Forum moderators also have the ability to mark replies as answers to the thread header. We are trying to encourage the person who posted the message to do this though. This is something we'd love feedback on. Feel free to send me mail (jledgard@microsoft.com) or post it here. :-)
