On to MEDC China......

While Lynda and Randy finished up their MEDC India trip, I have started my MEDC China trip over the weekend. I have had a busy Monday and Tuesday here in Beijing, meeting internal partners, such as the University Relationship teams in Microsoft Research Asia Lab (https://research.microsoft.com/aboutmsr/labs/asia/default.aspx) , & the DPE (Developer and Platform Evangelism) folks of MS China. It's really exciting to see there are so many great opportunities that we can collaborate to bring XPe to benefit more people in China.

Tomorrow will still be busy again as I received a notice on Monday that the local speaker who was scheduled to deliver the XPe intro and roadmap session can't do it because his laptop has been broken for a while. I am so appreciative to Mark, our PUM who delivered the session in MEDC US, that he had very detailed notes written. Whew... The challenge left is to get myself prepared to deliver the session in Chinese. Plus tomorrow afternoon there will be the keynote rehearsal on site. Derek nicely agreed to allow me to join the keynote demo on XPe. I'll leverage my first language Chinese for sure:).

Beijing is surprising cooler than what weather.com reported when I checked last week. And you bet I gotta eat the delicious authentic Chinese food I have missed :).

BTW: MEDC China will start on 6/21 through 6/22, together with WinHEC's first appearance in China: https://www.microsoft.com/china/2007/medc_winhec/
